Description of Object-Event:
An (Extended Bell) is any bell signaling the beginning or ending of a class that extends beyond the usual length of the bell tone. The first (Extended Bell) was recorded in October of 1976 (Year One) by Agent “Bill.” The cause of an (Extended Bell) is unknown. The 1983 N10-Counsil proposed it is secret signal to certain persons in the building, though for what purpose was not determined. The 1997 YoYo Committee proposed the cause of an (Extended Bell) was a “sound worm,” an audio-based lifeform that embeds itself into the soundwaves of the bell tone and stretches its length. While interesting, none of these theories is official. At this time the cause of an (Extended Bell) is unknown.
